Her birthday is on 29 March 1985 in Roswell in New Mexico. Her birth name was Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson's parents were Mexican Alan Stevenson & Rita Stevenson. Her parents are Mexican as well as American. Her entire life has been a fan of sports. Gerina first started golfing at the age of 15. Gerina graduated from Goddard High School. While she was in high school, she took home her first prize in the New Mexico state golf tournament. In addition to the sport of volleyball, she played on a state-level. She was enrolled at the University of Texas, Texas in the academic year. In her senior year she took home the top prize in every competition which she participated in. In her time at college she was awarded her Conference USA Player of The Year Award as well as the UTEP Female Sports Athelete Award.
